The 3 Processes You Need as a Podcaster

Let's talk about the not-so-sexy side of podcasting: PROCESSES.

Lots of blogs out there want to talk about artwork or the sexy new mic you should get or the sexy marketing tools you can use.

But none of this matters if you don't have your podcasting processes down.

Here are three processes you should have if you're a podcaster:

1. Your production process

How you manage guest outreach and interviews, keeping up with your production schedule, and setting aside time for editing.

2. Your promotion process

Your method for promoting your show. You should have a few key pieces of promotion that you do every single time. Just like consistency is important in podcasting, it's also important in PROMOTING your podcast.

3. Your brand partnership process

If you're trying to create brand partnerships for your podcast, you best have outreach and follow-up processes. Schedule time each week to reach out and follow up and be creative with your approach.

No, processes aren't the most fun part of podcasting, but they are the most important.

Get your processes right and you’ll get your podcasting right.
